The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth offers rigorous, fun, three-week summer day and residential programs at 11 U.S. locations. CTY has 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus activities like talent shows and dances. Year-round online courses are also enrolling. Be sure your kids spend time outdoors this summer. Venture Outdoors summer camps are now open for registration in North Park, South Park, and Millvale.

Creative Camp provides youth with 60 hours of intense artistic programming Monday -Thursday 8:30am – 5pm.  Youth participate in programs such as dance, music, and theater, visual art as well as field trips and swimming everyday weather permits.

Children attending the Campus Laboratory School (CLS) have access to excellent athletic instruction, and the opportunity to participate in various organized sports teams. CLS students compete in the Diocese of Pittsburgh sports leagues for cross country in early fall, basketball in late fall and winter, and soccer in the spring. They can also receive tennis lessons and participate in the Kids of Steel running club for younger students.

The Dragon’s Den is excited to offer a wide array of summer camp options! All of our camps will incorporate our indoor challenge course and beautiful setting in historic St. Mary Magdalene’s, a unique summer camp experience in the Pittsburgh area! Every camp will also involve an outdoor adventure courtesy of Venture Outdoors, and we will spend plenty of time enjoying the sunshine in our courtyard and the beautiful park across the street.

Almost Authors is a 5-day creative writing camp for students entering 3rd-12th grades. Students write fiction, poetry, and nonfiction in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. We welcome writers of all abilities and interests — it's fun for everyone!

Summer is an incredible time to row in Pittsburgh.  Our rivers allow us the opportunity to work in small boats and pursue individualized training in a way that is not often possible during the school year.  Three Rivers Rowing Association offers several programs to allow rowers to experience summer rowing in Pittsburgh. No experience is necessary, and rowing is open to everyone!
