Do you have a WILD CHILD?

Do you have a WILD CHILD?

The Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center (ARL) is offering summer camps at its  Wildlife Center location in Verona, PA.

The ARL also boasts an open door shelter on Hamilton Avenue
in Pittsburgh, PA.  The ARL is one of the few animal welfare institutions that cares for all animals, both  wild and domestic.  At the ARL, we have cared for everything from dogs, cats, and hamsters to gators.

Our wildlife center is located on Verona Road in Verona. The Wildlife Center’s goal is to care for sick, injured, or orphaned native Pennsylvania wildlife and release these animals back into the wild.

We
rehabilitate native wildlife including squirrels, foxes, snakes, groundhogs, birds of prey, and even porcupine.  In 2014, we had almost 3,000 wildlife patients come into the wildlife center for care.

The
Animal Rescue League Wildlife Center is the largest wildlife center in South Western Pennsylvania. It is a great place for kids to learn about nature and the wildlife that we see every day.

At Wildlife Fun Camp, kids ages 6-10 will be able to explore nature and learn about native Pennsylvania wildlife.

We will explore our 16 acre campus looking for signs of wildlife, make nature
themed crafts, play games and act out animal movements and behaviors.

Campers will also be able to
meet our resident Wildlife Ambassadors.

The sessions run as follows:

6-8 yr olds, 8:30 to 2:30pm

6-8 yr olds, 8:30 to 2:30pm

9-10 yr olds, 9:00 to 3:00pm

The cost of the camp is $150.00.
