Pittsburgh Musical Theater, Tarzan Hits the Stage!

"…could barely contain our laughter!" A REVIEW

As part of a “recon mission” to prepare for the Pittsburgh Musical Theater production of Tarzan, I watched the Disney animated movie with my children. Although I have seen it countless times, (as probably most of you have) it has been some time since we’ve played it. Actually, two children ago!  I watched how it entranced my four younger kids, ages 3 and 7, just as it did my oldest when he was younger. I silently hoped that PMT’s performance would be just as memorizing.

As usual with ...

Answers from PA Distance Learning Charter School

Note: PA Distance Learning Charter School is a tuition-free, home-based, online charter school that serves students from kindergarten through grade 12 across Pennsylvania.

However, the most successful students at PA Distance Learning Charter School tend to be the ones that reach out when they have a question. Not only are teachers receptive towards students who ask for help, they encourage it as a way to gauge student understanding in the online environment.

Spring Clean: Host an "Ugly Top Night"

ONE WOMAN'S "THAT OLD THING" BLOUSE IS ANOTHER'S FAVORITE NEW FASHION STATEMENT

In my younger days, much of my disposable income went toward trendy clothes and shoes. When my closet would begin to overflow, my friends and I would have what we affectionately called "UGLY TOP NIGHT" and swap our clothes and shoes. It's way more economical than a shopping trip to the mall and it's more fun than a garage sale with strangers.

I still spend lots of money on clothes and shoes ... for my boys! Clothing I purchase for myself tends to be more classic than trendy and ...
