This craft idea is one I saw loads of different places around the beginning of school.This is a very cute idea for back to school!While my daughter and I were looking for ideas, this one somehow popped up and she fell in love with it!The trick was to make it somehow relate to Valentine’s Day!!I came up with printing out a label and printing, “I’m just writing to say, Happy Valentine’s Day!”A bit far-fetched?SURE!But she loves it and we loved crafting them together!
Supplies:
Rolos- a roll not singular ones
Hershey Kiss
Pink Paper- 5 X ½ inch and for the eraser, I just used the inside of the tape dispenser to draw a circle but you need a bit larger than a quarter size
Yellow Paper- cut to 4 X 3 1/4
Foil- 5 inches by a little less than an inch
Glue dots, double sided tape or anything to hold it together besides bubble gum!! J
1.Cut all the pieces to the specified sizes.
2.Glue the Hershey kiss to one side of the Rolo package to make the pencil tip. I used glue dots for this.
3.Attach the eraser tip(pink circle) on the opposite end of the Rolo.Again, we used glue dots.
4.Attach the pink band below the circle.
5.Wrap the entire Rolo package with the yellow paper and secure. (I used double sided tape.)
6.Attach the foil in between the yellow and pink!
7.I attached a label on here and had my daughter sign them but it’s very cute with a labeled tied with string too!
