Join us for the opening day of our new exhibit, I AM WILD: A Charley Harper Exhibit, where you can explore six habitats filled with the colorful animals, insects and birds inspired by the artwork of Charley Harper and the ‘I Am Wild’ series of children’s books about biodiversity.
OPENING WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
Saturday, January 25
Double bass soloist Barry Green performs music as he tells stories about the animals in Charley Harper’s artwork
11:30 am & 12:30 pm
Learn about animals through their tracks, fur, feathers, and scales. Stop by to earn a Charley Harper Habitat Badge!
10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, January 26
Learn about an animal from Charley Harper’s art in person with live animal encounters with our friends from Living Treasures Animal Park.
11:00 am – 3:00 pm
I Am Wild: A Charley Harper Exhibit was created by Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh in partnership with Charley Harper Art Studio.
The exhibit was made possible by generous support from PPG, Wild Birds Unlimited, Flyspace and Dentons, Cohen & Grigsby.

We encourage all visitors, including members and children under 2, to reserve tickets in advance for the day you wish to visit through our online reservation system. Having your tickets printed or on your phone speeds along your admission so you can spend more time having fun!
Reserved tickets are good all day – arrive at your desired time and stay as long as you like.
Walk-up tickets are also available.
