In addition to Market Square activities — A Karneval will find its home on the Roberto Clemente Bridge and will deliver a wide range of games and activities, including a 60’ Ferris wheel at the crest of the bridge, providing scenic views of the Allegheny, Point and Downtown. The Ferris wheel is co-produced with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Flyspace, and Riverlife, a local nonprofit that conserves Pittsburgh’s riverfront.
“Oktoberfest Pittsburgh is a celebration of our city’s unique character, so naturally we had to find a way to incorporate our iconic bridges and rivers,” said Jeremy Waldrup, president, and CEO of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership. “The Ferris Wheel will offer festival goers an incredible opportunity to see the city like never before.”
Tickets for the Ferris wheel cost $5 and are now available for purchase here: https://www.oktpgh.com/ferris-wheel
