Description

Goat Fest is a celebration of South Side Park, a fundraiser for the ecological restoration effort, and an opportunity to see invasive-plant-eating goats in action

Where: Parking is at 21st St & Josephine, with a free shuttle to the event entrance at 2000 Julia St. The majority of the event takes place at the Arlington Ball Field behind the Arlington Fire Station. More about parking and directions

Why: There are three goals of Goat Fest: raise awareness about the South Side Park ecological restoration project; raise funds to support this project; and, create memories in the park for the community.  Goat Fest is organized by the Friends of South Side Park volunteers. Hundreds of volunteer hours go into this event to share our love of the park with the community.
