Make a splash and kick off Summer Reading in a big way! Join us at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Summer Reading Extravaganza, a family-friendly outdoor festival for all ages. Grab your friends and head to the Library in Oakland for music, crafts, games, activities, storytelling, food trucks and so much more! While you’re there, enroll in Summer Reading and pick up your materials.

Food & Drink: 

• Decorate and enjoy your own Eat’n Park Smiley Cookie
• Grab a granola bar and piece of fruit from the snack tent courtesy of 412 Food Rescue and Giant Eagle
• Purchase food from local food trucks donating a portion of proceeds to the Library

• Live music by STACKS artists: Sleeping Witch & Saturn, Gallo Locknez, and Molly Alphabet
• New Groove Music Studio
