Naathan Phan is not a magician. Naathan Phan is a theatre nerd with illusions of grandeur. Naathan Phan is a “polymath”: a person of wide-ranging knowledge and expertise. His diverse areas of prowess include acting, singing, vocal mimicry, writing, comedy, improvisation, music, storytelling, cocktail mixology, sartorial elegance, and all-around entertainment. He just happens to have been featured on shows such as Superbad, Tosh.0, Celebrity Name Game, Masters of Illusions, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, The Hollywood Christmas Parade, Wizard Wars, Don’t Blink, Junk Drawer Magical Adventures, America’s Got Talent, and more... Okay, so maybe he is a magician, but he’s a magician who wears many hats. He is a magician that Neil Patrick Harris has described as “hilarious... exclamation point,” Penn Jillette has said is “really f***ing good,” and Broadway World has proclaimed as having “Robin Williams paced wit.” Oh, and let’s add “modesty” to this polymath’s lengthy list of special skills while we’re at it!
Sharply dressed, ebullient, and dynamic, Naathan creates memories for those seeking wonder by combining as many of the aforementioned skills as possible into one unforgettable performance. He is a graduate of the Orange County School of the Arts, a proud Eagle Scout, and member of SAG-AFTRA, the Global League of Magicians and Mentalists, and the Academy of Magical Arts (better known as The Magic Castle in Hollywood), where he is a frequent performer and strolling magic champion. His multitude of talents have been featured at theaters, casinos, corporate events, private events, on stages and cruise ships around the world! He also holds the distinction of being one of only a handful of magicians in the world who have appeared in the Masters of Illusion national tour, recent Las Vegas residency at Bally’s, and international television series (Season 8, also featuring Naathan, is coming soon to The CW).
