$1 of every ticket will go to supporting local charity Beverly’s Birthdays.

In 2011 Beverly’s founder Megs Yunn met a young girl named Beverly at a local after-school program. Megs was helping her with her reading homework and Beverly had to use the word accustomed in a sentence. Not knowing the word’s meaning, Ms. Megs asked, “Beverly, at birthday parties, people are accustomed to eating what?”, Beverly responded that she had never had a birthday party of her own or even a slice of her own birthday cake. Inspired by this interaction, Megs started the nonprofit Beverly’s Birthdays to provide meaningful birthday celebrations for children experiencing homelessness and families in need.

Over time that dedication has grown to ensure that every child and family in the Pittsburgh community has access to the support and resources they need to thrive. Beverly’s three divisions- Birthdays, Babies, and Basic Care provide compassionate support to families in Southwestern PA. From celebrating milestones to providing essential resources, Beverly’s spreads cheer and assistance along the way.
