Children’s Museum Offers Free Weekday Admission to Northside Residents

Free admission is sponsored by PPG Foundation Every Weekday in February

February 1, 2024

Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is delighted to offer Northside residents free general admission every weekday during the month of February.

Northsiders from zip codes 15212, 15214 and 15233 can enjoy one free adult admission on all weekdays in February with proof of residence. Tickets must be purchased in person and there is a limit of one adult general admission ticket per transaction. This offer is made possible through the generosity of the PPG Foundation.

“We are excited to partner with the PPG Foundation to provide free admission to Northside residents right in our own backyard,” says Traci Weatherford-Brown, Senior Director of Museum Advancement. “This is a fantastic opportunity to welcome our neighbors to experience the Museum.”

The Museum also offers several free admission days every year as well as a slate of standing discounts. For a full list of museum discounts, visit our website at pittsburghkids.org. We also participate in the RAD Pass program that offers Allegheny County library card holders ages 18 and up free admission on select days each week. Visit radpass.org to learn more and reserve a pass.

“Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and the PPG Foundation share a common goal of sparking interest in exploration and discovery,” said Malesia Dunn, Executive Director, PPG Foundation and Corporate Global Social Responsibility. “We’re thrilled to help the Museum welcome the Northside community and open the possibilities created through learning.”

Don’t miss the Museum’s latest exhibit, Rube Goldberg™: The World of Hilarious Invention!, where you can build, activate and modify machines that use everyday objects to do simple tasks in the most overcomplicated, inefficient and hilarious ways possible. You can also explore the Museum’s six permanent exhibits—the Art Studio, Kindness Gallery, Garage, Nursery, Waterplay and MAKESHOP®.
