City of Pittsburgh Hosts 2nd International Day Parade & Festival

The event celebrates the Diversity, Culture, and Heritage of our International Neighbors

The City of Pittsburgh is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual International Day Parade and Festival will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024. The event coordinated by the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs will celebrate and honor the heritage of the nationalities who have planted their roots in the city with a parade, food, music, performances, exhibitions, and more.

“Last year was only the beginning of the greatness I know this event has the potential to be for Pittsburgh,” said Mayor Ed Gainey. “We brought together a multitude of people to celebrate their culture in the place they call home.” “I believe this event represents the very best of our city and I want to invite everyone out to make this year bigger and better than last.”

Applicants are asked to register as a nationality and not a particular organization to be eligible to participate. Submission forms must be completed by Friday, May 10, 2024. Any submissions after the completion date will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that participation in the International Day Parade and Festival is completely voluntary and any expenses are the sole responsibility of the participants.
