The famous Blue Slide Park is located at the corner of Beechwood Boulevard and English Lane in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood. This Pittsburgh Citi Park is special not only because it has been made famous by rapper Mac Miller but it also offers a change from your normal park.

1. More than just a playground

Come prepared -  There are volleyball, pickleball, and basketball courts.

You can work out! There is outdoor fitness equipment located along the park.

There is an awesome walking trail - The Riverview Trail (1.35 miles long)

2. The Important Details

The park has shade as well as tons of benches to sit on while the kids play.  There is also a shelter that is perfect for having a picnic!

There are Porta John's - they are located closer to the hiking trail and can take a minute to get to - so make sure to not wait until the last minute!

Street parking can be close to the park - but due to the popularity of the park, at more crowded times you may have to park a little farther away.

3. The Blue Slide

Fun Fact: It was originally painted red!

Cardboard is always laying around but you may want to bring your own piece if it has rained recently or to just make sure you have the best sliding!
