I remember a few years into my parenting career, stumbling across these 2 moms on Facebook.
I'm pretty sure what made me stop scrolling was the AMAZING built-ins I spotted in the background of their video. Wanting a better look at how they had it organized, I paused to check it out. After watching these two friends hash out their truths on motherhood for about 60 seconds, I realized something.
They were my people! I instantly connected with everything they were saying - the good, the bad, and the ugly; it was all my story!
Seven years later, Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley are the mom besties I never had. I mean, my mom besties are pretty awesome, but this #IMomSoHard duo has given me some gut-wrenching laughs on days that I could really use a pick-me-up.
Over the pandemic, I was super psyched when I came across their stand-up comedy on Amazon Prime. I loved seeing how far they had come from that living room and Facebook Live. Can you imagine my delight in 2022 when I heard these mamas were coming to Pittsburgh for their Getaway Tour?! EEK! I gathered some of my favorite moms, and we hit the town for a girls' night out that we'll never forget! It was filled with so much fun and laughter that my face hurt by the end of the night.
