PTP Family Connection
Through past family surveys conducted by Pediatric Therapy Professionals, many parents had said that they wanted to have more contact with other Early Intervention families. That is why we have developed PTP Family Connection.
Early Intervention can be an overwhelming experience. You have all these people coming in and out of you house. Your child may have a diagnosis that seems to impact everything in your life. You may have lots of questions about the Early Intervention process and the stress of it all. You may just like someone to talk to who can relate to your situation.
Pediatric Therapy Professionals, in collaboration with Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania, can help with some support through PTP Family Connection. This program gives you the opportunity to speak with one of our Parent Representatives. These families have been through Early Intervention in the past and received their services through Pediatric Therapy Professionals. They know what you are going through. They can answer your questions and address your concerns. PTP Family Connection Parent Representatives can give you the support that you need.
If your child has a diagnosis like Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, or Premature Birth, we have Parent Representatives who have children with similar diagnosis or situation. We also have someone in each county that we service.
Being a parent can be very demanding. If you would be interested in being connected with a Parent Representative in your area with a similar situation, you can contact Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania at 1-888-727-2706. Once you call, they will get some information from you to help link you with the most appropriate representative. Parent to Parent will arrange for a Parent Representative to call you to answer your questions and be there to listen.
We hope PTP Family Connection can help you and your family through the ins and outs of Early Intervention, and provide any support you may need.

Pediatric Therapy Professionals, Inc. (PTP) was started over ten years ago with an emphasis on providing quality treatment, intervention, and support. PTP offers a wide range of services, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy. We offer services in seven counties throughout Western PA. Our therapists and teachers are certified with a multitude of talents and work well with the team and family. Many families who have received our services have often referred others to PTP.
