Summer is just around the corner, and Glade Run Lutheran Services’ Specialized Adventures Summer Camp has everything your child needs for a fun-filled summer of playing and learning!
Who is this camp for?
The Specialized Adventures Summer Camp is a two-week social skills development day camp, specially designed for children with moderate to high functioning autism spectrum disorders. However, any child ages 8 to 18 years in need of social skills development is considered.
What will my camper be doing?
Adventures summer campers have access to Glade Run’s scenic 331 acre campus, which includes several gardens and greenhouses, an indoor and outdoor horseback riding arena, therapeutic patio areas, miles of trails and stream exploration, an outdoor classroom amphitheater, and gross sensory and motor rooms. Throughout each week, campers can participate in activities like horseback riding, cooking, gardening, swimming, and crafting while learning new social skills and accomplishing individualized goals.
