The Junior League of Pittsburgh will host its ninth annual Touch-a-Truck fundraiser from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 14 at the 11th and Smallman Street lot in the Strip District.
Kids have the opportunity to explore many vehicles at this popular event. They can get behind the wheel, honk the horns and meet the men and women who drive the trucks.
Proceeds from the 2016 Touch-a-Truck event will benefit the Junior League of Pittsburgh, an organization dedicated to developing the potential of women. Through volunteerism and fundraising, the JLP will focus its efforts on fighting childhood hunger in the East End of Pittsburgh.
This is a rain-or-shine event. Tickets are $4 online, $5 at the door. VIP tickets are $10 for adults. $15 for children (includes exclusive preview hour at 9 a.m. and a T-shirt). Parking is free.
