Try Science! Soap Clouds - YOU MUST DO THIS

January 21, 2018
This has got to be the simplest science experiment EVER!  Want a wow factor?  Try this out.

Go buy a few bars of IVORY SOAP.
Unwrap one bar of soap.

Line your microwave with paper towels or waxed paper.

Set an unwrapped bar of soap on the microwave tray.
Close the door.
Set the time for about 2 minutes.  You will watch and you can STOP the process at any time.

Hit start and get ready to make a SOAP CLOUD!

THE SOAP WILL GROW IN SIZE!

Once you are happy with its size open up the door.  It will be a little warm so be sure to handle it yourself.
It will FLAKE somewhat and some parts might have gotten on your microwave doors or walls.  It's okay!
Some water and a little elbow grease will rub it right off.  It's worth the minimal mess.

Have the kids take the "SOAP CLOUD" outside and crumble it!

We did this over and over they loved it so much!
