Therapeutic Summer Camp

New Story operates therapeutic camps during the summer months. Our camps are designed to meet the needs of children with the most serious and/or complex behavioral challenges. New Story provides a day camp experience offering traditional recreational and social activities found at other summer camps, but within a therapeutic environment to support each child’s continued growth and development.

Teams of skilled professionals deliver an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based program to improve communication and foster social skills in an interactive and creative environment. Clinical interventions focus on guiding and nurturing socialization and imagination.

Our therapeutic goals include:
• increasing social skills
• communication skills
• compliance
• emotional expression and regulation
• coping skills
• problem solving skills

Accepting ages 6-18 and enrollment is limited.

Camp runs for 6 weeks – 5 days per week – 8:30am - 2:00pm

New Story camp locations offer Summer Therapeutic Activity Programs (STAP) for children with Autism Spectrum Diagnosis (ASD) or developmental delays, and/or Therapeutic Activity Programs (TAP) for children with behavioral diagnoses.
