I'm here to tell you all about SOMETHING SPECIAL that my family and Macaroni Kid Robinson "sneaked a peek at." The Poconos Mountain Pa, Great Wolf Lodge kindly invited my family this past weekend to be some of the first families to experience the debut of it's newest kid friendly attraction.
Where kids become the main character in this all new, interactive story book adventure.
"Designed with this young, tech-savvy generation in mind, GREAT WOLF STORY EXPLORERS is a modern-day adaptation of the classic storytelling experience, but using technology that’s undeniably futuristic. The new attraction blends the best of classic storytelling, interactive engagement, and imagination into a fully participatory, hi-tech experience that’s first-of-its-kind. Great Wolf Story Explorers is being debuted at Great Wolf Lodge® - Pocono Mountains, PA., with plans for future installation at other Great Wolf Lodge locations."
Story Explorers combines the best of all the kiddo favorites in my opinion. Adorable characters with relatable personalities, stuff your own pal at a stuffing station and an interactive experience that takes traditional "story time" to a whole new level.
The GIST: Kiddos get to stuff their favorite Great Wolf Lodge character that has a high tech gadget within a bracelet. Said gadget is the "trigger" to create the interactive story telling experience throughout the lodge. The story, which was developed in collaboration with Creative Kingdoms, is told entirely by the animated characters in the game’s video screens.
Once stuffed, fluffed, dressed and triggered-- the kiddos AND their stinkin adorable characters are ready to go! 
The kiddos stand on a "Green Screen" and have their pictures taken in varying positions. This is to ready for the "Piece De Resistance" --- the kids get to RECREATE their whole adventure with a take home story book starring-- THEMSELVES. It's awesome! 
Then they are OFF around the hotel with Mommy and Daddy and the guide book to help find Madison the wolf's HOWL! Each station is activated by the stuffed character and tells a portion of the story!
Up and down the stairs you go with Mommy and Daddy in tow-- questing for varying Story Explorers stations and the next "clue." Each part of the story unfolding the next! The best part is---- you can stop at any point if your little ones are pooping out on you! So we stopped for some ice cream! 
Unlike it's Big Brother game, MagiQuest, (slay dragons, dual goblins and more with the wave of a wand ) Story Explorers is designed with little ones in mind and you can enjoy the experience at your own pace! The end result is that your kiddo helps to FIND the W's missing from Madison's howwwwl! What an exciting experience!
The final piece is THEIR VERY OWN STORY BOOK with PICTURES OF THEM WITHIN THE STORY! My girls thought this was just the "bees knees! " So did my husband and I!
Totally fun and two Mac Kid Thumbs Up! Visit Poconos Mountain , PA Great Wolf Lodge to try it out yourself! It's EXCLUSIVELY available at this resort only! This experience is loads of fun, totally interactive and great for kiddos ages toddler to tween! At just $39.99 for the entire experience it's a steal. This includes the character, it's outfit, the experience AND the take home book! Considering the typical price of a stuff and fluff "mall animal" --- this experience isn't too hard on the wallet! Multiple stories are expected upcoming so that with every visit your child can bring back their character and start a new experience! Another GREAT addition to yet an already awesome family resort!
