Jabra Stealth

A Bluetooth Device Review

September 8, 2014

I couldn’t wait to review the Jabra Stealth.  My husband has been a geek since the Commodore 64 was considered cool!  He has been through several  Bluetooth devices for his phone but all have fallen short due to poor call quality, ease of use or short battery life.

I noticed right away how much lighter this device was than other devices we have tried.  I actually looked in the box for an addition piece because I figured something had to be missing for it to be so lightweight.  Apparently, they have some fancy new battery that helps give the Jabra Stealth a long battery life (up to 6 hours) and it’s what make the device super lightweight as well!

The guide says that it can be up and running in 5 minutes but it only took us two minutes to have it paired with my phone.  Once everything is turned on, the Jabra Stealth and my phone “saw” each other it was love at first sight!  The correct application I needed to download popped right up without me having to search out anything and a few clicks later, we were in business!

There are several different ear pieces to choose from so no matter what your preference, you can find one to fit your needs.

NOW, the true test was call quality! According to their web site, “Noise Blackout™ reduces background noise from your conversations and together with HD voice, you are ensured of crystal clear conversations at both ends of the call.” After all, it doesn’t do us any good to look good if we can’t use the device too!   We were both pleasantly surprised by how clear sounding the device was on both ends of the phone.  Joe placed a call from work to me using the headset and I usually am able to hear background office noise but I couldn’t hear anything but him talking to me!  I even asked him if everyone was at lunch when he called.  The Jabra Stealth exceeded our expectations in call quality!

If you or your loved one is addicted to Siri or Google Now (I have one family member that I will not publically shame but let’s just say you MAY have seen on her this publication! LOL) , the
Jabra Stealth is the perfect device for them!  Just tap the headset button and it will remotely Siri or Google Now.  As much as I might poke fun at people for using Siri or Google Now, being able to access them hands free especially while driving is a huge bonus!

I often think of using a Bluetooth headset just for driving and even though my children are beyond the bottle stage, I would have loved to have this device while feeding my kids their bottle or even while getting a bottle ready!  I’m sure Siri knows how many scoops of formula go in a 6 ounce bottle!!

Bottom line is that we LOVED this device and highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a Bluetooth headset!
