Hi-Tech Learning Announces Addition of Minecraft Camp For Summer 2013
Hi-Tech Learning is happy to announce the addition of three new programs that will be available as camps this summer. The new programs are designed to make sure kids have a great time while learning important 21st century skills such as innovation, collaboration, and problem solving.
Adventures in Minecraft:
Join with other Minecraft enthusiasts/fans/pros to complete a series of fun challenges and the ultimate collaborative project to demonstrate your crafting skills! Share and learn tips, tricks, and create new worlds with others in this ultimate digital environment. All campers will take home instruction on how to access a free version of the application and their completed projects at the conclusion of the program. Mobile Game Design:
This is your chance to create and publish a game you and your friends can play on any mobile device. Students will use special software (GameSalad) designed to allow the creation of complex games using a visual, drag and drop interface. Once students finish their games, they will have the ability to publish them so they are available for play on iPhone, iPad, Android Devices, Kindle, and Nook. 3D Storytelling Junior: Does your child love technology and have a story to tell? Why not foster your kid’s creativity, help them learn to express themselves, and develop technological literacy by enrolling them in 3D Storytelling Junior? Using a software application (Kid Pix 3D) especially designed for young children, participants will combine an impressive array of creative digital tools with their own personal touch for an amazing result. This multimedia approach will truly bring your child’s imagination to life! The 3D Storytelling Junior program is for children ages 6-9, Level Beginner to Intermediate.
