A Benefit for Prader-Willi Syndrome
Support by joining in a walk or miniature golf!
Listen to these words of love and ACTION written to us from a true friend:
A dear friend of mine has a 1year old daughter, who was diagnosed, at birth, with Prader-Willi Syndrome. The Bender Family is from Butler,Pa and they have had a great amount of success in educating the surrounding communities about PWS. With the support from local families and companies, they have organized the very 1st Prader-Willi Syndrome Walk at North Boundary Park in Cranberry Township,Pa for September 8, 2012.
To help in their efforts, I have teamed up with Fun Fore All in Cranberry Twp,Pa to organize a Miniature Golf Fundraiser on August 13, 2012. Fun Fore All has generously donated the use of one of their courses. A $10 donation per person will include a round of mini golf, a hot dog or pizza slice and a drink. I am asking local companies to support this event by sponsoring a hole. Each $50 tax deductible donation will include an advertisement at the hole of your choice and your company name will be included on the event flyer.
The research for PWS has come a long way since it has been first detected. My goal is to help Leah Bender live free of the struggles that are associated with PWS. I want her to have the same opportunities in life that my kids have and with your help and the help of the community, I know these goals are possible.
